Keys Guide & Outfitting trout fishing trips take place on the
Colorado River and Roaring Fork River. Each trout fishing trip that we offer is
planned to the last detail allowing you time to relax and enjoy the
water, sunshine, and magnificent Western Colorado landscapes. All of
our trout fishing excursions include the highest quality equipment, and qualified and entertaining
fishing guides. Half-day
fishing trips include snacks. One-day fishing trips include lunch.
Two-day fishing trips include lunch and a back-country gourmet dinner the first day, and breakfast and lunch on the second day. All
fishing trips will have drinking water and refreshments available at all times.

Half-day and Full-Day Trout Fishing:
Join us for our expert guided fishing trips on the Colorado River and Roaring Fork
River and enjoy a successful day of trout fishing. The Roaring Fork River is rated as
Gold Medal trout fishing by the Colorado Division of Wildlife, this classification is held by only the best fisheries is the state. The Colorado River holds some of the largest trout
fish in the area with fish over 8 pounds being caught every year. Both of these
rivers hold a bounty of fish and provide fast action for both fly fishing and spin caster
fishing. Whether you are a first timer, or a seasoned fishing veteran, this is sure to be a great
fishing experience.

Rating System

Easy:
Adventure trekking for all abilities and ages. Includes short hiking over gentle terrain and 4X4 travel.
|
|
Moderate:
Participants should be able to walk at least a mile over uneven ground on Multi-Sport trips. River enthusiasts should expect small to medium size waves with clear passages.
|
|
Challenging:
Multi-Sport trips will be in rugged terrain and may require some scrambling, hiking distances will be 3-5 miles.
Rafting trips will run rapids that require some maneuvering in strong currents, and exciting whitewater.
|
|
|
Difficult:
These trips will take you to some of the most remote spots of the Black Ridge Wilderness. Expect hikes of 6+ miles over rugged country. Some scrambling will be required in the toughest spots and ropes may me used to lower packs or for hand holds.
|
|
Extreme:
This rating is reserved for the most physically demanding of all our trips. We require that all participants have either extensive back country experience or have participated in one of our less demanding adventures.
